Dancers who follow a dress code and are consistently well groomed carry this good habit over to all aspects of dance and life.
All students MUST have a dance bag to store their belongings.
All belongings must be labeled
We require, and appreciate, parental reinforcement of our studio dress code.
Optional clothing such as DAPR shorts and shrugs must be purchased at the Dance Academy.
No sweaters please
Bodysuits are like bathing suits, therefore no underwear.

Boys Only Tumbling: athletic shorts and a short sleeved t-shirt, bare feet. No socks or pants.
Jazz, Tap, Song & Dance, Acro-dance: Black shorts or jazz pants, black socks, white or black fitted tee shirt. Black jazz shoes for rhythm & dance, jazz, song and dance; black tap shoes for tap, preferably non-shiny; bare feet for acrobatics. All DAPR Team Dancers may need beige pull on jazz shoes and/or foot undeez depending on costume choices.
Ballet: White fitted T-shirt or bodysuit, black shorts, white socks, white ballet slippers.
Hip-hop: Please see Girls Hip attire.
**Special Note: The coloured bodysuits requested are RAD Exam specified. The studio will measure and order bodysuits for your dancer if they are selected to take an exam. You may then purchase them from the studio. For regular classes any coloured bodysuit will suffice.
Rhythm & Dance: Pink tank styled bodysuit, pink tights or thin pink socks, pink full soled leather ballet slippers, optional pink ballet skirt.
Pre-ballet, Pre-primary Ballet, Primary Ballet: Pink short sleeved bodysuit, thin pink ankle socks, pink wrap ballet skirt, pink full soled leather ballet slippers. Students may alternate colours of bodysuit throughout the year.
Grade 1-3 Ballet: Lavender short sleeved bodysuit, pink tights, pink leather ballet slippers, character shoes, and character skirt. May alternate colours of bodysuit throughout the year.
Grade 4-8 Ballet: Navy tank style (sleeveless) bodysuit, pink tights, pink leather ballet slippers split sole shoes are allowed, character shoes, and character skirt. May alternate colours of bodysuit throughout the year. Grs 6-8 need a navy long chiffon skirt.
Intermediate Foundation Ballet to Solo Seal Ballet: Black tank style (sleeveless) bodysuit, pink tights, pink soft pointe shoes. Solo Seal need a black classical tutu.
Acro-dance: Bodysuit with a choice of tights and/or DAPR shorts, or a unitard, bare feet.
Modern: Bare feet, black bodysuit, black tights, DAPR shorts optional, may alternate colour of bodysuits and tights throughout the year
Jazz, Tap, Song & Dance: Bodysuit, choice of tights and/or DAPR shorts, black split soled shoes for jazz and black shoes for tap(preferably not shiny). All DAPR Team Dancers may need beige pull on jazz shoes and/or foot undeez depending on costume choices.
Hip Hop(Boys and Girls): Black high-top converse style hip hop shoes to be used for class and recital. Clothing: Cool
Lost & Found
Please check our lost and found often. Clothing lost and found is located upstairs in the girls change room and the dance shoe lost and found is located up the far back stairs, outside of the office.
Lost & found will be donated to the Salvation Army three times per year.
